Boards and saves

Boards and saved image references are stored in HowsRoom's local flat-file data on the server where the app is hosted. They are not sold or shared with advertisers.

Search

When you use Catalog + Web or Web search, your query is sent to the configured image search endpoint to return results. Avoid searching personal identifiers.

Journal images

Article figures are drawn from your local catalog image URLs for illustration. Respect original photographers and designers when reusing ideas.

Cookies and tracking

HowsRoom does not embed third-party advertising trackers. Session helpers may use browser storage to make navigation smoother.
